BioTox is a health science management company that was founded in March 1989, to serve the technical and regulatory needs of the chemical, petrochemical, food and pharmaceutical industries.

Dr. Kapp has over 30 years experience as a toxicologist involved with the management, development and safety of new and existing products in a broad spectrum of industries including: chemical, petrochemical, food, consumer products and pharmaceuticals. He has experience in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) implementation and compliance (Covance - as an existing lab - and Exxon Biomedical Sciences - as a new lab); has managed the implementation of the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC) Certification for Exxon; has been as a study director on over 500 toxicological safety studies; was a laboratory manager at Covance and laboratory director at Exxon. He has experience in preclinical program study design, study reports, occupational and industrial toxicology, evaluating clinical and product safety data; in training and managing staff in laboratory operations; in evaluating contract research organizations and various compliance issues in the US as well as abroad.

Dr. Kapp also has experience in writing critical position papers, toxicology profiles, Safety Data Sheets and labels in the US and in global markets. He has placed and monitored $20,000,000+ in studies in US Labs and labs in South America and China. He has developed numerous INDs and NDAs; made presentations to regulatory authorities in the US; has conducted numerous risk and safety assessments; has been involved in general toxicological litigation support and expert witness testimony.

Dr. Kapp has held offices in both the American College of Toxicology and the Society of Toxicology.
