Abstract:
We live in a time where the world of work is changing. This poses both opportunity and challenges for consultants. Technology is driving change and transforming the current and future workplace - the type of work needed, the types of jobs available and the skills people need to fill those jobs. The job market is transforming employees from full-time to part-time as the “gig” economy grows. What can consultants do to navigate this “new normal?” How can consultants keep up their expertise to remain competitive in the new job market? What are the experiences of consultants in early, mid and late stages of their career? Can we make a good guess about the future of consulting?
In this presentation and panel discussion, we will examine what the future of consulting may be and how to keep a consulting business relevant and responsive to the changing needs and concerns of current and potential clients.
Panelists’ Biographies:
Laura Dallas Burford, MA, PMP leverages over thirty years of management consulting experience to help consultants and business leaders improve their consulting businesses.
