Abstract:  Chemical Consultants Network (CCN) is a non-profit organization of over consultants - chemists, chemical engineers, life scientists and other interested scientists and engineers of other chemical-allied disciplines. Our mission is to help start, practice and enhance consulting opportunities to interesting parties/individuals who are interested in consulting business.

Even though we have tried to resume our life to normalcy, it is undeniable that technology thrived during the COVID-19 pandemic, has changed many aspects of our daily personal interaction and business conducts. Like many other small groups / organizations, it seems we are losing our steam. How to regain our vitality is the question I want to discuss, and my perspectives about some critical issues concerning the healthy operation and future development of CCN.

The bi-annual official election for the term of 2025-2026 is underway. Vacant official positions are waiting to be filled. I would also like to collect recommendations or volunteers for serving our organization as an official or as a subcommittee member.

Biography: Youwen Xu, a radio chemist, worked in the field of radiopharmaceutical R&D and molecular imaging in DOE laboratories and large pharmaceutical company for about 18 years. Youwen formally joined the CCN in 2018 and started to practice as an independent consultant / contractor in radiopharmaceutical development and validation in 2020. Youwen is serving as the Publicity Chair (2021-2024) and the Chair Elect (2023-2024) of CCN, and going to Chair the organization for the coming two years 2025-2026).
