Greglynn Walton-Gibbs, Chair Elect ACS Philadelphia Section

Greglynn Gibbs, a graduate of Penn State Berks, is a Lead Research Associate at Roche Innovation Center Philadelphia, where she supports neuroscience gene therapy research. She previously served for more than three years as CNS Platform Lab Manager in R&D at Spark Therapeutics.

With professional experience spanning academia, government, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical research, Greglynn brings a broad perspective to scientific communication and professional leadership.

She is also active in the American Chemical Society (ACS), serving as Chair-Elect and Minority Affairs Chair of the Philadelphia Section and as an ACS National Career Consultant.

Greglynn will present “Publicity and Public Communication,” a practical training topic formerly offered by ACS National to its volunteer leaders and officials. Her presentation will provide valuable insights into communicating science, promoting professional activities, and effectively engaging with the public.
